Egbert Jones Camp United Confederate Veterans at the home of Mr. and Mrs Robert A. Moore February 2nd 1928.

I recently discovered that the man of color second from right is Mathew Grey who was a associate member of the camp.

There were three black veterans with this camp and they were: Matthew Gray, Essex Lewis, and Henry Bolden.

All three were awarded the Southern Cross Of Honor by the United Daughters of the Confederacy.
